Mother's alert: 13-year-old twins left for dead after receiving a drug-laced e-cigarette

Two 13-year-old twin girls were found unconscious after using an e-cigarette in a park in the UK. Their mother is urging caution regarding the risks of vaping among teenagers.

A mother has issued a  warning  after a particularly disturbing incident in a UK park. Her 13-year-old twin daughters were found unconscious after using what they thought was a simple e-cigarette. The case quickly sparked outrage and reignited concerns about vaping products circulating among teenagers.

An “electronic cigarette” given away in a park

The incident reportedly took place on April 29th in a park near the family's home. According to the mother's testimony, the two teenage girls met a group of young people and were given an e-cigarette that was presented to them as harmless.

The 13-year-old twins, Scarlett and Olivia, reportedly used the device unaware that it contained a dangerous substance. Just minutes after trying it, their condition deteriorated rapidly.

A rapid and alarming loss of consciousness

According to reports, the two girls collapsed approximately ten minutes after inhaling the substance. One of them reportedly exhibited particularly alarming signs, requiring urgent intervention.

A neighbor who witnessed the scene reportedly alerted emergency services immediately. The teenagers were then transported to the hospital in critical condition.

According to their mother, the girls were unconscious for several hours before gradually regaining consciousness.

Medical tests confirming acute poisoning

Once admitted to the hospital, tests were reportedly carried out to understand the origin of their illness.

The results indicated that the electronic cigarette contained illicit substances, including MDMA and “spice”, a particularly dangerous synthetic product.

Medical staff reportedly explained that without swift intervention, the outcome could have been tragic. The two teenagers were eventually able to leave the hospital the following day with minor injuries sustained in their fall.

A mother in shock and a call for vigilance

The twins' mother described a particularly harrowing situation, explaining that she learned the news while at work. She then discovered her daughters hospitalized, on IV drips, after being rushed to the hospital.

Deeply affected by this episode, she states that her daughters were profoundly shocked by what they experienced and that they had absolutely no idea of the nature of this product.

Today, she mainly wants to warn other parents about the risks associated with objects or substances that can circulate among teenagers, especially in public spaces.

A prevention message addressed to families

Through her testimony, this mother emphasizes the need to raise awareness among young people about the potential dangers associated with vaping and unknown products.

She also calls for caution when accepting items offered by strangers, even in contexts that may seem harmless.

This case serves as a reminder of how crucial vigilance remains, particularly when adolescents are exposed to unforeseen situations that could endanger their health.
