A few years ago, she was named the heaviest woman in the world and weighed almost 320 kg. The woman was constantly eating because her ex-husband liked fat women.

But over the past few years, she has lost a lot of weight and is now unrecognizable. Here's what this woman looks like today.

In 2011, when Pauline Potter was declared the world's heaviest woman by the Guinness Book of Records, she weighed as much as an adult polar bear.

Pauline Potter became widely known in 2011 when she entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's heaviest woman, weighing over 700 pounds (320 kilograms).

At the time, this weight was important to her and her ex-husband Alex.

In an interview, Pauline explains that her husband Alex preferred plump women and took pleasure in feeding her: "He would make me spaghetti and French bread. He would bring home pudding and feed it to me. It was an expression of love."

When Pauline found out that Guinness had named her the "fattest woman in the world," she admitted she was shocked.

The situation worsened when her seemingly loving husband left the family, leaving her in the care of their 17-year-old son, Dylan.

Pauline, who could only "eat" and "wipe herself," was almost entirely dependent on Dylan - including for transportation and cleaning.

Her health problems and desire to regain her independence led her to seek help.

After appearing on the show "My 600-lb Life" and with the help of Dr. Nowzardan, Pauline underwent a significant transformation.

She lost 20 kg, which allowed doctors to approve gastric bypass surgery.

Through a strict diet and gastric bypass surgery, she lost over 200 pounds, reaching a weight of around 220 pounds. This change allowed her to regain her independence and lead a more active lifestyle.

Despite the difficulties, including following a strict 1,200-calorie diet, her perseverance began to pay off.

Pauline took control of her health and after a few years lost a whopping 227 kg. After surgery to remove excess skin, she reached her minimum weight. Recently, Pauline shared a post on Instagram – her first in a long time:

"I'm proud to now weigh 101 kg. The feeling of not depending on anyone even for the smallest things is incredible," she wrote, showing off her new figure.

Pauline currently lives in Sacramento, California, and continues to share her progress on social media, inspiring others with her story of overcoming impossible odds.
