British actor Owain Rhys Davies has died suddenly at the age of 44, his grieving relatives have announced.
The Welsh television and film star gained the greatest popularity with his portrayal of Agent Wilson in the cult series "Twin Peaks."
In his professional career, he also recorded roles in other popular titles, including the series "The OA", the audio series "Impact Winter", and the fantasy film "Alice Through the Looking Glass".
The sad news was officially confirmed by his brother Rhodri, who made a statement on behalf of the family: "It is with deep sadness that my father and I share the news that my brother, Owain, has passed away."
The message further added that his loss will be a huge shock to many, as he was a man with an exceptionally big heart, filled with love, friendship and generosity.
