Never remove a tick with oil. A doctor showed how to remove a tick correctly and extremely quickly – not even a minute had passed!

How to quickly and safely remove a tick!

The correct method for removing a tick, recommended by doctors! Remember this advice!

I'll say it right away – this is 100% effective, tested by me personally, and most importantly – it was advice from a doctor!

Last year, our daughter was bitten by a tick. We were afraid to remove it ourselves, so we went to the doctor. The doctor removed the tick very quickly – not even a minute passed!

A month ago, I was bitten by a tick and I also quickly removed it. Now in more detail:

The first thing the doctor said was that under no circumstances should you pour oil on the tick – even though this advice is widely spread on the internet.

The doctor explained it this way: the tick begins to suffocate from the oil, and at the moment of suffocation it can release poison into the blood – and this is very dangerous, especially if the tick, God forbid, is a carrier of encephalitis.

Therefore, the task is to remove the tick without damaging it, so that the venom does not enter the bloodstream. The most effective method is to  kill  the tick immediately – and this is done like this:

An alcohol solution should be sprayed on the tick –  pure  alcohol!

Iodine and brilliant green won't help - it's best to use pure alcohol. The doctor, by the way, uses a disinfectant spray. Let me tell you more - hydrogen peroxide doesn't work either. Only alcohol, alcohol and more alcohol, or a clear alcohol-based disinfectant.

After you water or spray the tick, you will see it lift its backside up. Now take a cotton swab (or cotton bud) and start rotating it around the tick, lightly touching it. Try to rotate the bud so that the tick also starts rotating – as if you are “twisting” it out of the skin. This should be done very carefully – do not press on the tick! It should be removed  whole  and  unharmed .

When I started to spin it, less than a minute later, the tick literally popped out of the skin, like a bottle cap! To my surprise – it really started spinning and wriggling on its own!

The tick is collected and burned – this was also a recommendation from the doctor. She also said that there is no point in taking it to the laboratory, because you still need to monitor your condition and the bite site. At the first alarming symptoms, you should immediately consult a doctor.
