The Italian mafia is offering a bounty on this dog's head. Here's why:

The Italian police have a valuable officer who has already discovered over two tons of drugs, causing the Italian mafia losses of tens of millions of euros, reports Noticieros Televisa.

This is a Jack Russell Terrier named Pocho, a drug enforcement dog.

In one of his last big hits, Pocho found about 30 kilograms of cocaine in a cache. Shortly before that, the service dog found cocaine disguised as powdered milk in baby food bottles.

The drug lords have long dreamed of getting rid of Pocho. They even tried to throw poisoned meatballs at their number one enemy, but the dog smelled them and refused the treat.

Now, angry drug dealers have offered a reward of 5,000 euros for the killing of this sweet dog.

When he was a puppy, Pocho was bought by a doctor who lived near a football stadium. The dog was named after the popular Argentine footballer Ezequiel Lavezzi, who was playing for Napoli at the time. Later, his husband had to give the dog to the police because his son was allergic to its fur.

See how Pocho works:

Pocho has served faithfully in the police force for 9 years and will retire in a year.
