"My alarm didn't go off in time and that saved me." Sometimes everything that happens to us is for the best.

A year after the terrible attack in the United States on September 11, 2001, this short reminder was published in one of the local newspapers. Read it carefully, and perhaps several times, if you are one of those people who often get nervous over small things.

"You may know that the head of one of the major companies survived the September 11 attacks because he took his son to kindergarten for the first time."

Another survived because it was his turn to get donuts.

A woman is late because her alarm clock didn't go off on time.

Someone late, stuck in traffic on a New Jersey turnpike.

One of them missed the bus.

A woman spilled coffee on her clothes and needed time to change.
Someone's car wouldn't start, someone came back to answer the phone.

Someone else's child was late and wasn't ready on time.

A man was unable to get a taxi.

What really impressed me was the man who put on new shoes that morning, went to work a different way, but before he got there, he got a callus on his foot. He stopped at the pharmacy to buy a band-aid! That's why he's alive now.

Now, when I'm stuck in traffic, I missed the elevator, I went back to answer the phone... When all these little things happen that annoy me, I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be right now.

The next time you feel like your day isn't starting out right, your kids are getting dressed slowly, you can't find your car keys, you're late at every traffic light, don't get upset or lose your temper: "God is watching over you. Everything is for the best."

Don't rush like a botanist in the jungle,
Don't worry that you haven't succeeded everywhere,
Maybe you're too late to board the Titanic.
