Only 5% can solve the problem correctly: how many eggs are in the shell?

Spatial thinking is the ability to think three-dimensionally and represent objects in space. It allows you to solve various problems in the world of design, architecture, engineering, and many others.

You can develop spatial thinking through various exercises and tasks, such as assembling construction sets, drawing perspective images, and even playing chess.

We invite you to solve an interesting task. So, look at the picture and answer how many eggs are in the shell? The correct answer will be at the end of the article.

Developed spatial thinking can also be useful in everyday life, helping, for example, to navigate an unfamiliar city or assemble furniture without instructions.

The correct answer

The Sun claims that only 5% of people are able to solve this task correctly.

It is best to start counting the eggs from the bottom. The shell is square and can hold 4 eggs in width and length. We multiply 4 * 4 and get the answer 16. That is how many eggs are in the first row.

For each level we repeat the algorithm. That is, there will be nine eggs on the second floor, four on the third, and only one egg on the fourth.

As a result, we get: 16+9+4+1 = 30 eggs.

And what answer did you receive?
