When 24-year-old Patricia Clarks from New Jersey became pregnant in 1983, she knew the baby would be big.
She already had one baby and knew there were big babies in her family. However, she never expected how huge the child she was carrying would turn out to be.
Patricia gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark, weighing in at a whopping 15 pounds. At the time, he was not only the largest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital, but perhaps the largest baby in the state of New Jersey.
He couldn't fit in a standard-sized crib and his baby clothes were too small for him, but Kevin was—much to his parents' relief—completely healthy.
Naturally, it wasn't long before his size was noticed. A number of publications wrote about him.
He was even invited to guest on Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America.
But Kevin continued to grow.
Today, Kevin is 35. He's a former soldier. And every day people ask him how tall he is.
“There’s not a day that goes by that someone doesn’t ask me how tall I am,” Kevin tells the Post.
"When people ask if I play basketball, I ask them, and they ask if I play mini golf."
Kevin's height is 206 cm and his weight is 136 kg!
He has already learned to live with the fact that he is taller than practically everyone else.
Amazing, right?
