10 things I stopped doing after turning 60 – and I haven't regretted it for a moment. I recommend it to everyone

When I turned 60, I realized something important – many of the things that once seemed important are actually just unnecessary burdens.

I live more simply now. And more peacefully.

I want to share with you what I left behind – without any regrets.

1. I stopped dieting.
Enough. I've been tormenting myself with all sorts of restrictions my whole life.
Now I eat when I feel like it and what I love - just without extremes.

2. I don't give advice unless asked.

I used to believe that I was helping. Then I realized – I was more often a hindrance.
If they ask me for my opinion – I will say it. If not – I just smile and keep quiet.

3. I'm not looking for a man.
After 60, I realized: a woman can be truly happy without that eternal "you have to have a partner."

4. I don't rush after fashion.
Advertisements, brands, discounts – they are no longer for me.
I choose comfort, taste and inner peace.

5. I don't discuss my girlfriends.
With age you understand: when you talk about others, you lose a part of yourself.

6. I don't do things that don't bring me joy.
Money isn't worth the nerves.
Better less, but with a smile – than more, but with a weight in my soul.

7. I don't spare myself.
I allow myself more small pleasures – ice cream in the park, the theater, or just a walk in the evening.

8. I don't teach children how to raise their own children.
Everyone has their own path, and I don't want to prevent them from following it.

9. I don't complain about life.
Complaining doesn't make it easier. Gratitude does.

10. I stopped being sad for no reason.
Now I am grateful for every day simply because I have it.

After 60, I didn't choose youth - I chose inner peace.
And you know, only now did life begin to bring me true pleasure.

And you - what have you given up over the years? Share in the comments.
